Photography has always been a part of Tanya's life. Her family and friends have joked about her always having a camera to document their life moments. Although she has never published any of her work professionally, Tanya promises to remedy that in the near future. Until then, Tanya will continue to take pictures for her enjoyment and others.

Tanya loves to travel for pleasure and work. Here is only a small sample of Tanya's photographic style and photos. She uses a Canon T3i DSLR camera to take most of the pictures you see (aside from an inexpensive point and shoot digital camera for quick shots).
Some of the places Tanya has been able to travel to are: Italy, Germany, Ireland, Spain, Portugal and London in Europe. She has also traveled within the U.S. both for work and pleasure to Oregon, Nevada, Monument Valley, New Mexico, Arizona, Texas, New Orleans, Nashville, Gettysburg, Washington D.C., Boston, New York City, Virginia, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Aspen to name just a few.

Recently, Tanya felt the urge for a creative outlet again and decided to dust off her paint brushes and oils. The oil painting is based off of a picture she took while on vacation October 2007 in the Cinque Terre, located on the Northern Coast of Italy.
Tanya took the original photo on a walk along the coast with a friend while they looked for a place to dine for dinner. They ended up finding an adorable restaurant and enjoyed an amazing two hour dinner. The dinner consisted of gnocchi with pesto, strawberries and cream and of course, lots of wine.
